Kazakhstan expands horizons: new opportunities for cooperation with ASEAN countries

Kazakhstan and the countries of Southeast Asia are strengthening economic cooperation, aiming at new horizons of partnership. The focus is on creating a favorable business environment, launching joint innovative projects and expanding export opportunities.

The International Trade Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses "SMITHA Global" visited Kazakhstan on an official visit. During the visit, representatives of the association held meetings with government agencies and leading enterprises of Almaty and Almaty region. The discussions covered strategically important sectors: technology, agriculture, energy and logistics.

The key outcome of the negotiations was an agreement on expanding cooperation. This opens up opportunities for the implementation of joint projects that will become an engine of economic growth, attract investment and diversify the economy.

The official representative of SMITHA Global in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Serik Amirov, noted that Kazakhstan demonstrates a confident course towards developing cooperation with the ASEAN countries, which today represent one of the most promising economic regions of the world. The high dynamics of economic growth, a young and actively developing population, as well as a focus on innovation and sustainable development make ASEAN a strategically important partner for our country.

The Republic of Kazakhstan has significant potential to create effective interaction platforms that combine investment, technology and exports. Specific agreements, such as agricultural processing projects and support for initiatives at international forums, confirm the country's desire to become a key link between Central Asia and Southeast Asia.

A systematic approach to cooperation, an emphasis on high-value-added products and the introduction of modern technologies open up new horizons for strengthening trade and economic ties and achieving sustainable growth.
